Mihai is a partner of Sangra Moller LLP. Mihai received a B.Sc. (Honors) from the University of Alberta and a LL.B., and LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Mihai was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2004 and to the British Columbia Bar in 2006.

Mihai’s practice is primarily focused on corporate finance and securities law, lending and secured finance, and commercial transactions. Mihai routinely represents both public and private companies as well as underwriters and agents, with particular emphasis on the mining, forestry, energy and industrial technology sectors. He has acted as lead counsel on a variety of complex transactions including domestic and cross border public offerings, private placements, proxy contests, takeover bids, debt financing and restructuring, complex licensing arrangements and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises companies, boards and committees on corporate and securities law compliance matters, corporate governance and special transactions.
